Ok, well it been a while since I started my diet. I need help getting started. I am on the first 90 plus days of the diet phase. Granted it hasn't been 90 days yet.
But I am doing the diet and exercise program called P90X, from the company Beachbody. You can get there by going to http://www.beachbody.com.
The diet is half the equation. The exercise it the other. My goal this first round it to loose weight. The next 90 or so days will be to really gain muscule mass. I haven't exercised much in the last couple of weeks, because I hurt my back. I hope to get back to that part next week! And as I am writing this I am still loosing weight.
My current weight is 223 as of this mornings weigh in. I started at 266 pounds and a 49 inch waist with a 19 inch neck. My current waist size is 41 and my neck size is about 17 inches. I still have about 63 pounds to go. That would put me at 170; 180 with a lot of muscle.
But I have noticed how my clothes fit different. Many of my friends and family have been supportive and told me how I look better. I need to post some of the modified meals I am using and my tricks for making it all work for me. That includes the modified exercising when I have to do so.
In my goal to loose weight and get fit, I want to show how I did it. It become a testimony for others as well. That along with the text is two witness. And as Torah(the Bible) say, takes two witnesses to establish anything.
It's all going well. I had a weight plateau that I was stuck at a certain weight. My weight was at 230, now I am over that stop gap. I sure there will be more.

Starting Test...the begining of things
Tomorrow I will begin my test, so I can see where I am.
I have been reading so much from the books that came with my workout program(p90x).
We tried the Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry from the Nutrition Plan(page 51). Forgot to get ginger. It was still stood good. My wife added snow peas, and she had asparagus as she doesn't care for broccoli.
I couldn't find Sobo Noodles, but we added Rice is was very good.
It will take a while to get us to changing how I live. It was that way when I converted to being Torah Observant.

Test Done! - Water the right way!
The real truth is "It's mind over matter", so to speak. I will continue to think on that.
But now I am just about ready for the first day.
I have to take the "before" pictures and do the physical test. Don't expect to see them here right away.
I was rereading the books that came with the exersise program.
I have to fight bad thoughts of failure everywhere. But I am cofident that I will get past that. But I did do the test pretty good; so that will drive me on. My youngest son is going to be doing it with me. He took the test too, (he's 21).

Drinking water the right way.
OK so what do I mean by that. First you have to drink enough water. It is a very important part of any kind of workout program. The body as you know releases water more than just when you eliminate. Sweat is very important. I remember the James Bond Move "Gold Finger" where the girl was painted all gold. She died right away because her skin couldn't breath.
Drink water through out the workout! That my goal, before, during, and after!

The First Place...The Mind!
I have started to do what the WORD says. Plow the field. Plant the crops. Wait for the rain!
First step is thinking the process through. If you see yourself failing you do.

Why This Blog!
- I don't want to see my health go down hill; any further!
- I want to be around for my family(including grand kids).
- I am tire of feeling so tired and weary from being fat!
Need I say more!
I am going to do something radical. I am going to change how I eat. I am also going to exercise!
It won't be easy. But then nothing worth doing is! I will tell more in the next week or so!
I do have a proverbial ace up my sleeve, a first rate friend in my corner; The Creator of the Universe!
